Hannah "The Flash" Harper.

On the Run

Our house has a long hallway or (more accurately) a runway, which the girls almost never walk down.

The girls showing their work.

Making a Line

The girls periodically gather items to spread across the floor in a straight line; in this case they arranged their books.

Gov. Sarah Palin and her daughter Piper.

Here’s another shot from yesterday’s Iron Dog finish, as the Palin family waited for Dad to arrive.

Iron Dog Finish

I was shooting video at the Iron Dog today, where the Governor waited for her husband, who finished sixth.

The landing was smooth as usual.

In Mid Air

Hannah likes to climb on, then jump off Daddy, and in recent days I’ve been trying to catch her in action; tonight I did.

Waiting for Sister

I was attempting to assemble the family when Hannah up and ran off; that left these two sitting there looking cute.

Dad: the jungle gym.

Jump on Daddy!

It’s hard to take a picture of the girls and me wrestling when I’m on the bottom of the pile!

Jumping is a new favorite.

Only Action Shots

Hannah is a difficult child to photograph unless you’re ready to catch her in action; here she is mid-jump.

That bear must have an appetite!

Feeding the Bear

Our toy dishes and kitchen utensils provide hours of fun, especially for Elisabeth; she likes to feed the animals.

Remember not to put anything breakable in there!

Their Favorite Drawer

Our children rely on teamwork to remove the Tupperware, but Elisabeth does all the organizing.
