The kids love letters. They have a magnetic set and a set of stickers too – their newest, favorite things. Tonight we spent some time on this project, putting all of our names and ages on paper. They loved it.

One of the ministries we will miss most is the singing quartet we often formed with our Pastor and his wife. This is a picture of the very last song we sang with them, perhaps this side of heaven. That is a joyful, but difficult thought. We will miss them very much.

We try to get a picture of the entire family once in a while. On this particular day, all but one of our children was ready to be photographed. It was just after church on a Sunday afternoon and she was hungry! Oh well…five out of six ain’t bad.

As you can see, we tried unsuccessfully to capture a family photo as we left the hospital with Sarah. Elisabeth is caught looking at Sarah, Stephen jumping (I think) and Hannah giving me a hug and thereby pulling my head behind Deborah just at the right moment. Oh yeah…and you can’t even see Sarah’s face! We can’t help but love the picture anyway, it will continue to bring back wonderful memories.

No good photos of Sarah with Elisabeth or Stephen yet, but hopefully we can get the entire family together soon!
